Nowadays, most of universities accept their new students with independent enrollment. It is happen in Indonesia, when the government cannot give the university subsidize anymore. Then, the universities earn money from their new students with independent enrollment. The cost of independent enrollment is much more expensive than the national enrollment. Also, the university gives large number for students who want to enter the university by independent enrollment than the quota of the national enrollment. In this case, the university wants to get more money from the independent enrollment to complete its facilities, but the problem is the number of students that accept in the university with independent enrollment should be decreased because it is unfair, not good, and wasteful.

            Independent enrollment is unfair for the students whose good intelligent without financial support. Although most universities need much more money to complete their facilities or to build their building, it is unfair for some students. It means that the students can easily accept in the favorite university just because have lots of money. This case shows that to have a good education, people must have lots of money, so how about the poor? They cannot change their life because there is no chance for the poor to get well education.

            Independent enrollment is also not good for the university itself. Despite the fact that the university get much more money from independent enrollment, their reputation will be decreased little by little. Because the university has more attention to independent enrollment, they do not pay attention to the intelligent that the students have. Although the university has the beautiful buildings and good facilities, the university does not have the intelligent students.

            Independent enrollment is wasteful for the university. It is certainly true that the university get much more money to complete its facilities and build its building, but the university has done wasteful things. The university cannot increase its quality of students because the university does not pay attention to the intelligent of the student. In addition, their reputation will be hancur because the university always thinks about money. The university has forgotten about their duty to teach the students cleverer than before; not just earn money from the students.

            In conclusion, independent enrollment should be deleted because it is unfair, not good, and wasteful. Most universities in Indonesia will decrease their quality of students little by little because they do not pay attention to the intelligent that that students have.
