Making A Paragraph

MY WRITING ASSIGNMENT

Those assignments were wrote since I was in the third term. I put the mark in each paragraph because I just want to remember the score what I got.. :)

Score : Good

                The third floor of Scott’s sells house hold appliances. As you enter the store through the main entrance, the furniture department is directly in front of you in the middle of the store. The toy shop is located in the right corner beside the elevator. The lamp department is on the right the carpet shop. The bath shop is on the left between kitchen equipment and electrical appliances. The carpet shop is behind the furniture department in front of the kitchen equipment.

Score : Good

Dr. Alden who directs on English language school has planning on Tuesday, February 21. First, at 8.30 to 9.00 she greets new students. Then at 9.00 to 10.30 she gives a test to new studentds. After taht, at 10.30 to 1.30 she orders new text books. At 11.30 to 12.00 she makes phone calls. Next, at 12.00 to 1.00 the students have lunch with teachers. Finally, at 1.00 to 3.00 she observes closses.

Score : Good

Vicki is having a birthday dinner for her friend. First, she buys food for dinner at supermarket. Then, she picks up birthday cake at bakery. Before the beginning of the party, she has to clean the house. After that, she makes dinner. Next, she wraps presents. Finally, she sets table.

Score : Good

                I have several positive effects of choosing a career as a translator and a government empolyee  in tourism. First of all, we can get more knowledge. We can also learn English more comprehensively because to be a translator learns about the meaning of words, so we can understand the text. Then, to be a government employee in tourism, we will meet foreigners from other countries, so we can practice to speak English fluently. Most importantly, we will get enough salary from both of them, so it can be used for family’s needs.

Putut Heru Pratama has worked with us for four years and has made rather good impression. He tends to be smart and critical. Although he is a cooperative person, he is an egoistic person. We have found him, on the whole, to be rather lazy. We feel that he is not admirably suited for the position of doctor with your company. I suggest you to ask him  to be a lawyer because he has a critical character.

                The English Department of POLBAN has a unique in subject. Not only in English subject such as writing, grammar, reading and listening we learn, but we also learn business communication, management and how to use computer software. I think English Department just studies in general subject in English, but we are given the other subject for business. Our knowledge and skill will increase, so we can study English and business easily.

                Summer is my favourite season. It makes me happy because I can enjoy m y vacation especially going to the beach. I can do many activities in summer. I can swim, dive, or sun bath. Beside that, I can enjoy a beautiful scenery at the beach, so it is an interesting season to do whatever I want.

                Mbah Surip is a famous Indonesian singer in 2009 although he was dead. He was born in Mojokerto, on 5 May 1949. Before he became a singer, he had work experiences in a petroleum company and also in foreign countries like Canada, America, and Yordania. Near the end of the  century he began to make a record album whose song was Ijo Royo-Royo, Indonesia I, Reformasi, Tak Gendong, Barang Baru, and Bangun Tidur. In the middle of 2009 he made a video clip of Tak Gendong, and his song has been hit. At the age of 60, he was dead in the way to Pusdikkes TNI AD hospital, Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur.

                Exercise is necessary for good health. It is important to keep balance for our body. It makes our body strong and immune to disease. Exercise that we do in daily activity are jogging, walking, running, playing badminton, swimming, etc. Exercuse can be done once or twice in a week. We will feel fresh if you do it regularly.

                September is my happiest month because my hope to have a nephew or a niece is answered by my Lord. After Idul Fitri, I got the information that my first elder brother becomes a father because his wife pregnants, and my sacond elder brother has had a baby. His baby is a girl. She was born in Bandung, on 23 September 2009. I realli want to know and meet his daughter. When my nephew and niece have been six months old, I think they are the beautiful baby who has a cute smile.

                My favourite roomin my house is the living room. It is rather big. There are two pairs of big windows in the right wall. Under the two pairs of big windows , the couches fit perfectly. It is really comfortable. Behind the windows, you can see my flowers garden. The left wall is lined with a case where a television is fitted. My family photo is lining on the left wall at the top of the TV. Under the couches, there is a carpet where my family and I sit or sleep to relax while watching TV.

                It is a traditional house which comes from Padang. It is named Gadang house. If you can see a picture above, it is surrounded by mountains and fields. I in the background there is a lake which runs around the fields. Up on teh mountais there is the cloud whicshelters for the plant in the forest. Fields strech as far as the horizon. Next to the house there is a small woods. On the each side to the left and right the house, you can see cornfields. A path crosses the fields. For a long way off there is a small village which faces in front of a lake. If you are there, you can see the beautiful scenery of the mountains which slope down to the lake.

                Helmi Nopiansyah and Ai Siti Lisma have many things in common. For example, Helmi and Ai graduated from SMP 1 Kadungora, Garut. Helmi and Ai Live in the same village. He does not like seafood, and neither does she. In addition, both of them have the same blood types. They also like watching the Asian plays. Another similarity, between the two people is that they have the same hobbies. They are walking, cycling and swimming. They like them very much. Both of them usually ride bicycle in the morning. Beside their hobbies are same, they have the same character. They are rather selfish, but they are very humorous.

Garut Plaza or GP food court is a nice food court to be visited in Garut. It is located near Pasar Baru, six minutes walk from Asia department store. The style is simple and traditional. It has delicious Sundanese food and ice ‘Si Peueut’. For lunch, Its costs Rp 9,000-17,000. There are many kinds of food and also they are healthy for our body although the price is rather expensive. I seldom eat in this place if there are many people because it is too crowded, so the service is slow. Beside music, GP has hotspot area. While listening to the music and eating, you can also browse something in this area.
